Creating innovative products involves carrying out effective research. We're dedicated to providing excellent products for consumers, which is why we interact with them at the earliest stage of the design and development process. Talking to both parents and children ensures that every new product fulfils a proven need - the aim is always to provide products that parents feel GOOD about and kids find FUN.
We're proud to say that WA products receive numerous consumer awards each year. We also benefit from a strong licensed character portfolio that includes well known properties such as Disney, HIT and BBC.



Here at Worlds Apart we have Kidspace, a dedicated research facility that enables our designers and engineers to put new toys through their paces and allow them to assess their play value and relevance by the toughest critics of all… children. Talking to both children and parents ensures that every new product is exactly as it should be.
Go Glow Time story
Go Glow Time was created to aid children with their bedtime routine. Initial research highlighted a need for a teaching aid… toddlers waking up at 5am was a common problem - not a great way for everyone else in the household to start the day!
Focus Groups were held, showing first concepts, which highlighted some areas for improvement. 'It should have more educational features', 'Buttons features are too young', 'It looks like it's for playing, not a sleeping tool'
Our engineers and designers took all the feedback on board and we put the second stage concepts in front of another series of focus groups. This time we had it right. 100% of Mum's now loved the product.
Packaging research and user trials followed. Every stage of the product had been researched giving complete confidence to retailer and consumer.
